The Build Process

Every boat Custom Works builds begins life on our computer screen. With the 3D modelling capabilities of Australian developed Maxsurf software, we are confident in the design characteristics, safety and performance of any new model created - prior to ordering of the plate aluminium materials.  All shell plate used is 5083 DNV certified plate, with interior panels made up of 3mm 5052 marine grade.  Kit shapes produced are precision cut by local company Northern Profile Service on their high definition Plasma machine.

Custom Work’s highly-skilled staffs take the utmost of care in constructing the vessel to exact drawings.  All welding is carried out to and above relevant industry standards and seams are fully welded for corrosion resistance using the state of the art Fronius MIG and TIG welders.  Customers are more than welcome to inspect the construction process at all stages.

Once the welding process has been completed, the fit out and finish of the vessel is undertaken using high quality products.  Lastly, any brand of outboard motor can be chosen to power the new rig with all relative warranties applying.
